UPDATE I have mannaged to produce a Pied male! He is a
Double Factor Blue Faced Pied, with a few white flight feathers on one wing only, but may grow in some on the other wing.
I will be breeding him to my white/splash hens and a silver hen to produce a few more pieds. I would love a cinnamon or
silver pied.
I do offer live bird for sale. Birds are only avaliable to be shipped to US addresses, March -
October.

Welcome to Grey Lady Button Quail + Co. This webpage is dedicated to those 'cute as a button' birds who
have captivated me and many others. The button quail, or chinese painted quail, is a cute energetic little bird that is a
good pet, and great aviary companions to other quail, small parrots, finches, soft bills and lots of other bird species.

Currently, I have 9 full grown buttons, and 3 chicks, in a few different colors including white, splash.
blue, and silver. They all live together and I have had NO problems with feather plucking, aggression or terratorial behavior.
I believe these problems are stress related, with the bird having not enough room, and lonleyness.
